Fancy a trip to the Shropshire countryside for a farm visit? Roy, the farmer, has an eclectic collection of vintage farm machinery, earth moving plant, the odd jet engine and a working Harrier Jump Jet. Roy’s farm is also the home of Millington Race Engines which we will have a tour round. His son, who runs MRE has put together a fascinating museum of WW2 plane crash relics.
This will be a very informal tour meeting at Roy’s farm at 10 am on the Friday. The only cost is a donation to Roy’s chosen charity, The Air Ambulance. Numbers will be limited to a maximum of 12.
The farm is situated about 3 miles out of Bridgnorth on the Ludlow road. For those that wish, we will adjourn to the pub afterwards for lunch.
